CENTURY INSPECTION, INC. is a nondestructive examination contractor, performing, in addition to our pipeline work, inspection of various materials, pumps and generating plants, chemical plants, and related components.

From 1970 through 1987, Costaln Process,Inc.. (a UK company), was the parent company for International Test Equipment, Tech-Chek, Richardson X-Ray Service, Inc., Consolidated X-Ray Ltd., and Consolidated X- Ray Service Corporation, which was, in turn, the parent company of Century Inspection, Inc. Orignally, the primary purpose of Century Inspection was to perform open shop nondestructive testing.

The management of Century Inspection and Consolidated X-Ray Service was the same. In September of 1987, Costain Process, Inc. decided to divest itself of the various nondestructive entities, John Wright and David McCorkle elected to purchase Century Inspection. Operations in the name of Consolidated X-Ray were discontinued, and all Consolidated employees, along with a significant portion of the capital assets, were transferred to Century Inspection, as well as the 49% ownership in Consolidated Chugach Inspection, Inc. On March 31, 1991, Century Inspection was purchased by International Testing Services, Inc (ITS). On December 1, 1997, David McCorkle re-purchased from ITS, the ownership of Century Inspection, along with the 49% ownership of Consolidated Chugach.
